About Nigel Lilley

Nigel established the business in 1990 having spent many years working for architectural practices and Local Authorities in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Hampshire and taking time out for a Bachelor of Education degree in Design and Technology.

After nearly 40 years starting from school as a drawing office “lad” and apprenticing as an Architectural Technician, Nigel’s breadth of experience in the industry is well established ranging from project consultant for Emporio Armani’s retail stores in London and Glasgow to self building two barn conversions and his own office.

Nigel's wife, Jackie, joined the practice as full time Office Manager in 2008 bringing her skills and experience gained as a Legal and conveyancing Executive.

The practice works mainly with private residential clients who are looking to alter and extend or replace and build new homes but it is a strength of the practice to respond successfully to a variety of projects from stabling to day nurseries, orangeries to forestry huts and boat houses to airfields.

Distance does not pose a problem either. Projects have included refurbishment in Lanzarote, new villa in Corsica, extensions and alterations in Alderney, France and the Isle of Wight.
